Sansha – Extra Strong pointe shoes
Sansha Extra Strong pointe shoes have a U-cut that creates a beautiful line of the foot. The box is made of burlap reinforced with natural glue. Its shape and construction support the arch and toes and provide the foot with a comfortable and stable fit. Thanks to their comfortable design, many dancers compare them to slippers.
The Extra Strong version has a very hard shank with plastic reinforcement, which retains its original shape and does not break like a classic shank. Plastic reinforcement is also found under the metatarsal part of the foot. This area is initially very firm, so it is harder to break in the pointe shoes and especially to move from demi-pointe to standing on the full platform. They require a strong and well-prepared foot.
The pointe shoes provide pronounced support and are intended primarily for truly advanced dancers with strong ankles, a strong foot and a more pronounced arch. We do not recommend this version for beginners or less advanced students.
When choosing, it is important to select the correct shank strength according to the strength of the foot and ankles and the dancer’s level.
